DJ AMRO was born on September 17th 1988. He got his first little keyboard at the age of 10 as a birthday present. Soon enough, he got hooked on making music. At the age of 12, he started working with programs such as Fruityloops and Music Ejay, discovering the basics of producing. Little by little, he also started mixing vinyl and when he reached the age of 15, he received his first offers to perform at Antwerp's hottest clubs such as Club Industria, Nanno sur l'O, La Rocca and many more. Today, AMRO is one of the most influential DJ's in the Antwerp club scene. He was one of the winners of the BOA Pioneer DJ contest, impressing a jury including Booka Shade's manager and BOA's CEO. Meanwhile, he has been working in the studio with famous producers such as Paris Avenue, Dave Lambert etc. At the age of 20, AMRO signed a wordwide record deal with CNR Belgian House Mafia Records (Mostiko), one of the most prestigious Belgian labels in the scene, housing artists like Armin Van Buuren, Tocadisco, Junkie XL and many more. AMRO is more than capable and is already meeting high expectations. He recently topped the USA promo pool charts with his single "In my life". Meanwhile, AMRO shared the stage with artists like Alter Ego, The Subs and many more. Today he is one of the most respected Belgian house producers and receives support by legends including Eric Morillo, Axwell, Laidback Luke, Gregor Salto, Peter gelderblom, Dj Roog and many more.
