Op deze editie combineert Cresst de nieuwe badass DJ's en producers (zij die nog niet vaak in België hebben gespeeld) met een aantal meer gevestigde d'n'b artiesten. De line-up vertrekt van de pumping crunchy neuro sound en evolueert in de loop van de nacht tot darkstep en crossbreed Cresst style!

Daarbij komt nog een all Belgian room: een zaal waarin het bewijs geleverd wordt dat België niet langer alleen een topland is voor d'n'b concepten, maar dat we stilaan ook op het vlak van producing & DJ'ing volwaardig lid zijn van The Major League van Grote Jongens.

BREAK (UK) (Symmetry Recordings)
Zijn unieke kijk op DnB is synoniem aan twisted bass lines en harde bas, en wat Break verspreid over een niets vermoedend publiek sinds 2001.
Begonnen bij A-Sides 'Eastside' label, en gegroeid tot samenwerkingen met de grootste labels in de scene, onder wie Ram, Metalheadz, Shotgun, Exit, Critical, Soul:R, Quarantine, DNAudio, Subtitles en Digital Soundboy.

DOM & ROLAND (UK) (Dom&Roland Productions, Moving Shadow)
Mensen die houden van DnB, houden zeker ook van Dom&Roland. Ze zijn al sinds het begin aanwezig in de scene, maar Dom staat tot op de dag van vandaag als voorman in ontwikkelingen en als hoogtepunt in de scene. Zware mannen in aantocht!

ZARDONIC (VE) (Human Imprint, Freak)
Al met 16 jaar begon Zardinic te produceren onder zijn heavy metal naam Gorepriest, en twee jaar later verdiende hij al een Best Keyboardist award bij de Premios Metal Hecho in Venezuela (Metal Made in Venezuela Awards 2002-2003). Dit bezorgde hem een duidelijke plaats aan de top Venezolaanse metal scene. Zijn grote kennis van de wereld en culturele achtergrond is misschien wel de sleutel naar zijn perfectie. Deze wil je niet missen.

MAZTEK (IT) (Renegade Hardware, Subculture, Contaminated)
Geboren en getogen in het hart van Italië, Rome, werd hij op 18 jarige leeftijd gefascineerd door elektronische muziek, en dan vooral Techno en Drum en Bass. Hij besloot een sprong te wagen in het diepe en begon met het produceren van niet alleen Drum en Bass, maar ook Electro, Grime en Dubstep en speelde daarmee in de Italiaanse underground scene. Meedogenloze Drum en Bass komen naar je toe!

NEONLIGHT (GER) (Bad Taste, Red light)
Neonlight representeert de samenwerking van twee totaal verschillende persoonlijkheden die een ding met elkaar gemeen hebben: een passie voor Drum en Bass. Altijd op zoek naar een beter geluid en een volleerde samenstelling van elk apart bedachte nummer. Zonder van te voren grenzen te bepalen gaan ze door tot alles perfect samen valt en ze tevreden zijn met het eindresultaat van een stukje goeie muziek.

THRASHER (NL) (PRSPCT)
Goeie vriend en professionele badman, de eigenaar van het beruchte RRSPCT label zal zorgen voor een stevige Drum en Bass set, die er voor zorgt dat je tevreden naar huis kunt.

KROSSBREED stands for non-compromising metal. It's a mixture of 4 different minds and 4 different ideas about metal formed into one hard and heavy unit, in other words a crossbreed of their own creativity.

KROSSBREED was formed in 2003 in Antwerp, Belgium. KROSSBREED has no real boundaries, what leads to a style of metal that is hard to name. But one thing we can agree on is that it's a band that will take you to every corner of the metal world. Going from fast ripping riffs to catchy mind breaking tempos, KROSSBREED has it all.

THIS KID was founded by drummer Gerben and vocalist Steven in May 2010. Laurens and Jens joined forces later on guitars and backings, and so did Stef, taking up bass duties.

Some would put the weirdest things before the word "core" to label our music. THIS KID just calls it metal. Loud, energetic, punchy metal. Unconventional metal. With hooks. No 9-minute twinsolo's or elves falling from grace here. Bits of Killswitch Engage, Thrice, Refused, Rage Against The Machine and The Bronx, all in one song.

These lunatics-on-a-mission spent the better part of 2011 playing shows and making songs, and recorded in the winter of 2012. Debut album will be out on the 26th of May! It's gonna be SWELL.

Zardonic started composing at the age of 16 under his black metal moniker Gorepriest, and two years later he earned the Best Keyboardist award at the Premios Metal Hecho en Venezuela 2002-2003 (Metal Made in Venezuela Awards). This gained him a significant following in the Venezuelan metal scene. His varied background, environmental location and unique production styles are quite possibly the secret recipe for Drum & Bass perfection. This one is not to be missed.

That is correct. Bong-Ra! His style contains a variety of crossovers and fusions of different genres, including metal, gabba, jazz, rave and jungle, making him one of the front runners of the breakcore genre.

Bong-Ra, Jason Köhnen's electronic alter ego saw life in 1996. Hailing from The Netherlands, Bong-Ra initially started as a dj, but quickly focused his priority on producing his own music in 1997.

Djax Records signed Bong-Ra in 1998, proceeding to release the debut album 'New Millennium Dreadz' and the 12-inch series 'Darkbreaks' Volumes 1 and 2. Bong-Ra at that time was accompanied by MC Guzman on vocals.

In 2001 Clash Records (a hardcore jungle orientated 7-inch label) was set up. In that same year John Peel invited Bong-Ra to do a 'Peel Session' which was released on UK label Death$ucker Records. Several vinyl releases followed in the period between 2001 and 2003.

From 2001 to 2004 the 'Breakcore a Go-Go!' parties were run and organised by FFF and Bong-Ra becoming one of the first (bi) monthly regular Breakcore nights in Europe. 'Bikini Bandits, Kill! Kill! Kill!' the second full length album was released in 2003 on Supertracks Records. This album saw an audiovisual co-operation with US based film company Gyromart. The track '666MPH' was used on the Bikini Bandits DVD and the videoclip to '666MPH' aired on MTV. The Bikini Bandits audiovisual project became an exposition in the Museum of Modern Arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands. That year Bong-Ra also appeared on some of Holland's biggest Festivals : Lowlands, Metropolis and Eurosonic. Also a small UK tour with DJ Scud and Soundmurderer followed.

In 2004 Bong-Ra set up his second label Kriss Records, focussing on edgier breaks (mostly combining metal and breakbeats). That same year the Center for Electronic Music (CEM) in Amsterdam asked Bong-Ra to produce a special 4 track EP solely using vintage equipment in the CEM studios, resulting in the 'Colony of Electric Machines' EP on the Vynalogica label. The 'Monsters of Mash Up' European Tour in 2005 with Shitmat (UK) and Enduser (USA) and a Japanese Tour with Parasite (UK) was followed by the third full length 'I am the God of Hellfire' released on Very Friendly and Ad Noiseam and the jungle/raggacore CD compilation 'Warrior Sound' on Supertracks Records (NL).

In 2006 a special 4 track remix EP of Venetian Snares' 'Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett' and the debut of Bong-Ra's main side project The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble were released on Planet Mu (UK). The politically charged album 'Soldaat van Oranje' was released on Sublight Records (CAN). Bong-Ra returned for his second Lowlands Festival, becoming one of the highlights of the Festival (according to Dutch magazine OOR). A second European tour and split 12-inc with Enduser 'The Kill' and a memorable muddy Glastonbury Festival highlighted 2007.

After the succes of Glastonbury, continued 2007 working on a variety of side projects including ; Deathstorm (extreme hypergrind project with japanese noise / grind legend Maruosa). [artists]Glowstyx (90's rave revival album). white darkness (uberdoom combining funeral doom with classical music). The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation (TKDE live improv sideproject). Köhnen vs Nottelman (improv hardcore electronica jazz core stuff).

2008 saw the legendary Bang Face Weekender take place, a festival with a legendary line up...a classic! The first Bong-Ra US Tour, and a return to the dutch Lowlands Festival.

In the late summer of 2003 when a couple of Friends got drünk, they started talking about having a Rock & Roll band... They all had the necessary Metal experience through other bands like Festering Christcunt, Suhrim and Sensor:Norn... but now they wanted something different, something groovy... Hence The Mammöths were born !!! Half a year later Bart ( guitar/vox) joined the band, and the beast was ready for rampage!!! Bringing you their original Pliocene Mammöthrock!!!!!! In the meantime we shared the stage with bands such as Adam Bomb, Gunz N Rosez, Belgian Asociality, Bütcher, Self Inflicted, The Plague of Gentlemen, Illyrian, Bourbon for Roses...
