autoKratz

autoKratz
Since storming onto the UK music scene in early 2009, London based duo autoKratz have swiftly merited a reputable and solid name for themselves from the start: With their distinctly unique sound which boasts infectious bass hooks, insanely catchy vocals, compulsive beats and slices & bleeps and comparisons to Digitalism, this electro-duo quickly caught the ears of certain BBC tastemakers such as Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Pete Tong and Steve Lamacq who helped spread the gospel and gain support from the likes of Tiga, Erol Alkan and Brodinski in the clubs. Shortly thereafter, the Parisian electro-pioneers at Kitsuné snapped them up to release their full length 'Animal in the Fall of 2009 in Europe, prompting the band to embark on a widely successful tour, recruiting legions of hardcore fans across Europe in the electro underground scene with their formidable live shows, securing them as one of the most sought after breakthrough acts in electronic music this year. Having played a prestigious festival circuit this year including Glastonbury, Lowlands & Pukkelpop, the autoKratz set combines their trademark rock and roll energy with a remarkably distinctive electro sound - a recipe which has seen them touted as the most significant live electronic act to have emerged in recent years with comparisons to legendary acts such as Underworld, Depeche Mode, and The Prodigy. "Always More", the first single to be taken from their highly anticipated debut album 'Animal' is a moment of electro-pop perfection, proving autoKratz have honed their songwriting craft to produce a very special record.

Brodinski

Brodinski
Brodinski, 1 has his right hand on the hardened minimalist edge and his left hand on the electro party scene. He's part of the fluokids phenomenon. His sets are clean but the tracks are dirty, and the "mix tapes" he offers on his blog never fail to disappoint. Baby Djs are awake since 2006, be careful Brodinski may be the bad boy of this blogaddicted gang ! Coming from Reims, he started music at 15 and just never stopped hitting the dancefloor harder and harder... His friendship with Yuksek helped him to begin the production of music of mass destruction: "Bad runner" is a must play for any DJ dealing with bloghouse and maximalist techno sets! He also appears on many hostings and mashups with his friends creating new dimensions of his work: noob & Brodinski, Mumdance & Brodinski, Gucci Vump , The Krays (aka Yuksek & Brodinski). "Brodi" is now resident for Panik parties in Paris... Boom Chick Boom Ah !

His interest in dubstep began after hearing early music from Horsepower Productions. Joakim

Joakim
Joakim is a French modern electronic music artist. Multi talented and well-cultivated, he has released two audacious albums on Versatile Records (Tigersushi in 1999 and Fantomes in 2003) and founder of Label and Proteinic website Tigersushi. Joakim Bouazziz has always been involved in music. He learned piano at age six, with master concertist Abdel Rahman El Bacha. During his teenage years he discovers indie rock and appreciates labels such as Warp and Mo Wax. He discovered a passion for electronic sound after a school-friend left a synthesiser in Joakim's room. The electronic nature of the synth opened up a new realm of possibilities for musical creativity, and after a few months of prolific creation and sending demos to Gilb'R, the label manager decided to produce his album on Future Talk [a more experimental divison of Versatile]. What followed was a brilliant and amusing album with many references to 60s modal jazz, through which Joakim displayed his ability to manipulate electronic composition in an new and original way. Tigersushi was soon spotted and Joakim, who used then the moniker 'Joakim Lone Octet' stood as an intriging loner in the electronic music landscape. One year later, musicians such as 4Hero, Next Evidence and DJ Medhi revisited his first album in the 'Tigersushi Remixed' album. In 2001 he founded his own label under the suprising name Tigersushi and produced projects by K.I.M., Panico, Principles of Geometry, Volga Select, Max Berlin and the infamous compilation 'More God Dam Music' (MGDM)
