The man behind the project Dub Taylor is Alex Krüger from Berlin. Dub Taylor is his alias for very deep techhouse tracks with tons of delays. You can find certain releases on labels like United States of Mars, Force Tracks and Konfekt. In February 2001 his long awaited debut album "Forms and Figures" was released on Raummusik.

But you will not only find his productions under the name of Dub Taylor. Alex also has another project under the name Korsakow where he produces deep house.

But Alex Krüger wouldn't be Alex Krüger if there wasn't yet another project he's involved in.

In January 2001 the first album of the project Echobox was released on Freiraum (a sublabel of Raummusik). Echobox are Nadine Hemme, Thorsten Stahnke and guess who, Alex Krüger of course.

Perfectly produced, the three of them are heading towards pop a little bit with their music. They have already proven their abilities with some live sets in and around Berlin.

DJ Rashad has been instrumental to the creation and evolution of Chicago Juke music and has been lifelong friends with other key players on the scene, such as Paul Johnson, DJ Gant-Man, DJ Spinn, DJ Godfather, and Jammin Gerald. He has the ability to blend elements of house, ghetto house, disco, juke, and ghettotech together with a knack for creating sparse, snappy tracks that manage to convey a physicality and funk with a spectacular precision.

Belgian born Alix Depauw is the face behind production stature Alix Perez, now regarded as one of the most ground breaking and innovative producer-DJ of his generation. Shortly after his debut release, Alix sees himself catapulted to the fore front of the drum and bass scene carrying an ever growing reputation and sought after catalogue of music.

With a history of critically acclaimed releases on legendary labels such as Metalheadz, V recordings and Soul:R, Alix goes on to sign exclusively to Friction's very own imprint Shogun Audio, the home of his remarkable debut album "1984". Straying from the traditional confines of Drum and Bass, 1984 goes onto be one of the most highly anticipated and rated electronica albums of 2009 and beyond, gaining extraordinary reviews and extensive support globally.

With collaborations ranging from legendary soul vocalist Peven Everett to lyricists Foreign Beggars, 1984's prominence in the history of drum and bass is further cemented with chart topping positions and rare reviews in publications such as the Metro, Mixmag and more. This leads onto remixes for staple labels such as Ninja Tunes for household names such as DJ Food, Hadouken and more.

Tony has been making big waves in music. Compared to everyone from Daft Punk to Snoop Dog, Tony has been using his "undoubted production talent" (DJ magazine) to make his own blend of "astonishingly forward-thinking" music. Originating from Sweden, Tony spent six years in Leeds learning everything he could from the flourishing house scene, eventually starting up his own mini-empire of labels (Anonym, Gung-eli-gung, Horehaus & Virago) to release his own tracks as well as hunting for fresh talent. Quickly earning a reputation, Tony was soon taking his DJ sets around Europe, Japan and the Americas.

The floor-shaking, bass-driven, dirty house dub Whaddup was quickly snapped up by Darren Emerson's label Underwater, and was made "Essential New Tune" on BBC Radio 1's Essential Selection, in a show that featured no less than four of Tony's tracks. Senghore is also an incredible remixer. His awesome re-working of the Audio Bullys single Turned Away was the hottest promo on the block, having the rare accolade of reaching number one in both the Cool Cuts Chart and the Buzz Chart. He also has also remixed Ladytron, Chamonix, the Buffalo Bunch and Lady Sovereign among many others to devastating effect.

With people recognising him as one of the "most prolific but underrated house producers" (Mixmag), his unique and "superbly crafted music" makes Tony Senghore one to watch out for.

Internal Sun is het audiovisuele live-project van Andrew 'Chi' Claes en VJ Natché.

De Antwerpse multi-instrumentalist, electronica wizard, muzikant, componist en producer Andrew Claes volgde een opleiding aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Antwerpen en legt zich vanaf jonge leeftijd ook toe op elektronische muziek.

Claes maakt(e) deel uit van diverse bands waaronder BRZZVLL, Stijn, Hamster Axis, !MadDog, GO_TELL, Ziggy Electric en Dez Mona. Van die laatste maakte hij onder de naam Internal Sun een knappe remix van de track 'Jack's Hat' uit Dez Mona's tweede album 'Hilfe Kommt'. Als producer en saxofonist is hij verder nog te horen op enkele tracks van Marco Bailey (MBElectronics, Bedrock Records), The Go Find (Morr Music) en Butsenzeller (Wharf Records).

Internal %u263C Sun is vooral een live gebeuren met Andrew Claes op handsonic, elektrische sax (EWI) en custom-made computertoepassingen die met de nodige knopjes en kabeltjes verbonden worden tot een totaalsysteem waarbij live-looping, glitching en slicing naar de next level worden gekatapulteerd. Hier geen strakke drumsequencers, voorbereide samples en loops, maar organisch gespeelde en veelal geimproviseerde beats en baslijnen met een gevaarlijk psychedelisch sausje. De visuals worden voorzien door VJ Natché, die in sneltempo Antwerpen en omstreken onveilig maakt met haar flitsende bewegende schilderijen, waarbij symmetrische abstractie en concrete clips naadloos in elkaar overlopen op het grote scherm. VJ Natché verzorgde eerder visuals bij SirOJ, Chaos of the Haunted Spire en de Antwerpse LUNAR-feestjes op verschillende locaties.

Eerdere samenwerkingen met projectiekunst-collectief Cinémasacré en saxofonist/DJ/producer Cubic Animal resulteerden in begeesterde performances waarvan fragmenten op youtube te vinden zijn.

Klinkt volgens de Antwerpenaren zelf als: Antzwerp Funkcarnival, A live analogue synth-experience between 80 & 120 bpm, Vocoder madness, squarewavez, emotional starlightgrooves, waking up during a interstellar-journey for a midnight-snack, etc..

Quest is a London based dubstep producer, a key member of Anti Social Entertainment. He releases music on Deep Medi Musik, Dub Police and on the Anti Social Entertainment Imprint.

Slovenian based Sare Havlicek (Jure Havlicek) is a bit of a hoarder. A hoarder of old synthesizers, drum machines and most of all 70's & early 80's euro/cosmic disco sounds. A trip around his luxurious studio is a bit like a day at the synth museum. All these elements go into Sares current cosmic-disco music. By the sound of his music you would think he had Italian blood.

Sare's production career began way back in 1988 (he has had several aliases including Freeze, Hyperactive, Moob and Sare Muratore). So one thing's for sure; Sare is no newcomer when it comes to attention to sound quality. All tunes come with no samples or loops inside! Let's disco!

Venetian Snares is een pseudoniem van Aaron Funk. Hij is ook bekend als BeeSnares, Last Step, Puff , Senetian Vnares, Snares Man!, en Ventriloquist Snakes. Hij is bekend geworden door het maken van breakcore in bijzondere ritmes, zoals de 7/8 maat. Zijn genre-stijl is uniek en varieert van Breakcore, illbient, ambient, drill 'n bass tot lounge.

Anoraak is a producer/DJ from Nantes, France. His productions are clearly influenced by 80's TV and video game music and are usually very melodic. Anoraak is part of the Valerie collective and his tracks are often featured on the Valerie blog. He recently released the EP 'Nightdrive with you'. Anoraak has remixed artists including Hail Social, College, Futurecop!, and The Outrunners.

The Hacker is a French electroclash and techno producer who has worked extensively with Miss Kittin. « L'homme de l'ombre »... From his start in the hardcore technoscene, to the massive success he found with Miss Kittin; Michel Amato aka The Hacker is one of today's most talented and innovative French artists. With influences from Electro (Kraftwerk) to New Wave music (The Cure and Depeche Mode) and familiarity with the French rave scene of the early 1990s his sound is well defined, yet original.

With four hands on two decks and a lot of bravado, Timaxx & Drezz bring you a steamy blend of dub, roots, reggae, breax and jungle, ragga, afro-, balkan- and latin-beats and other pieces of funkiness. Uptempo irie indeed.

Their biographies (see below) can merely hint at it, but their knowledge of history of dance and world music -in particular of the bonds that tie those two together- is immense, as are their DJ skills and their love for a jolly good party.

The Dubbers often take things to the musical underground, and then they'll make sure that their set appeals to the sometimes rather peculiar tastes of its inhabitants. But fear not, ye megafestival organiser. The Turntable Dubbers can turn into demagogic jocks as well because at heart, they are true populists who just love to please the crowd.

In any case, they will always give you one hell of a party, carefully adding yet another beat or spaced-out echo to their musical mélange. This blend of styles is cooked to a climactic frenzy which will bring the audience to the very edge of rapture. Needless to say, they will also bring it shortly -sweaty, steamy et all- to your beer taps.

The Freestylers, Daddy G (Massive Attack), Max Sedgley, Discobar Galaxie, Arsenal and Krafty Kuts -not the sort of people you'll ever find far away from either a beer tap or a turntable- looked upon the Dubbers and saw they were, well, damn funky.

In order to add even more flavour to their sets, they collaborate with several mc's and live musicians such as sax player Funky Frenic (Humb!), MC Six (Skeemz/Galaxie Gangbang Soundsystem) and MC Junior Fragga (Uphill Sound) and P-Bone (Percussion) to spice up their act on stage. You might come to the conclusion that all this might very well result in some tracks- and subsequent releases- of their own. Well, you wouldn't be too wrong ...

With several epic releases under his belt and an official remix of "Iconoclasts" by the notorious hip hop collective Wu Tang Clan, belgian dubstep prodigy Syndaesia is turning heads all over the world. This young producer with roots ranging from rock, funk to drum&bass creates music with the sole intention of smashing up a dancefloor. In just a short amount of time he has seemingly reached sonic perfection, giving birth to dubstep with an in-your-face attitude that is on the wish list of radio stations & dj's around the globe. In 2009 his unique approach to club music was picked up by Belgian electronics collective AKS (Addicted Kru Sound), who offered Syndaesia the opportunity to become the official guitarist for AKS live & co-produce their upcoming singles. The very same year Syndaesia won Studio Brussel's producers contest with his dubstep anthem "Bad Karma", made a remix for the critically praised album "Wu Tang meets Indie culture VOL 2: Enter the dubstep" & signed record deals with american labels Code of Arms records & Abducted records. Today the Syndaesia sound continues to rampage across the club scene. His smashing debut album " Turbulence" is due for release in the summer on Code of Arms records. What to expect?
