The Backlash is a Belgian two-man electro-punk-house project manned by veteran DJ Eric "Powa" B. and relative newcomer Julian K. After releasing some EP's in 2003-2004, their first full-length "Serial Cleaner" was released end 2005 on Surprise Records, a sublabel of Lowlands.

The musical roots of Tomaz sprung from his father's collection (ranging from classical over country to French chanson and pop music) to the new wave and rock scene of the 70's and 80's. This was his sole inspiration for his early Dj days. It wasnt long before he started to introduce the first house and techno tunes to those wave/rock parties and the Belgian airwaves on local radio stations. His obsession for music drove him towards a job at the BCM (now Enterprise) record store, where he still works today guiding music-crazed lovers through the musical jungle. In the late nineties Tomaz took it to a new level when he gave a first shot at production with Kobbe. That was the birth of several 12"es on labels like Re-Load and Future Frontier. Next in the line of production were the successful collaborations with the Filterheadz ("More House", the latin techno hit "Los Hijos del Sol" and the major worldwide clubhit "Sunshine" on Carl Cox' Intec label). "Sunshine" is one of the best selling singles on Intec and is still being re-pressed today, 4 years post-release. This was the moment when Tomaz moved from the local radio stations to the Belgian national radio Studio Brussel where he became the techno programmer for the weekly show Switch. The show has just started its sixth season and continues to bring the best electronic music to an international audience. Alongside techno, Tomaz also programmes future hits and best classics on the same radio show. 2005 saw the release of the follow up single to "Sunshine". The Saturn Moons EP once again proved the musical diversity of Tomaz. After the latin flavoured releases, "Titan" is a dreamy, string-fuelled anthem, that like it's predecessor, is played by all the big names, whether they are techno, house or trance dj's. The future will bring more collaboration with the likes of Stanny Franssen, Sam Ostyn, Redhead, to name a few.

The Mixfitz is zowat het dodelijkste dj-duo dat ons land rijk is; meervoudig nationaal scratch champ DJ DAMENTED (Killa Tactics) en regerend Wax And The City kampioen DJ JACK (IFC) delen de decks sinds begin 2008, maar dat maakt van The Mixfitz verre van beginners.. The Mixfitz droppen een naadloze mix van hiphop, electro, dancehall, breaks, drum'n'bass, reggae, dubstep, disco, funk, rock, dance, 80's en 90's classics en zowat alles daartussen.

X-ian really runs a double life. This prolific progressive house dj and innovative DVJ artist is well known in the club scene for doing his well appreciated DJ / DVJ performances in most of the Belgian top clubs. Not only is he respected by his mixing skills and excellent record-selection, what a lot of people don't know is that he's the man that made PIONEER ProDJ a success in Belgium. He was one of the product-developers that created the pioneer CDJ-1000. This dj-cd-player became a worldwide success and is now a demand in most dj's technical riders. X-ian will of course perform with the latest DJ-gear technology. Expect the most intense sound experience in harmony with the best 'Progressive Deep House' like X-ian likes to call it

For well over a decade Juice Blender was part of a Ghent based deejay duo that was formed in 1995- adequately named Juice Blenders! In the early days they played mainly eclectic sets with a lot of funk, breakbeat and house influences. Continuing on this path, they got to know the work of people like LTJ Bukem and Photek - and were absolutely blown away by it. This style of drum and bass was really welcome at a cosy venue called Sous Sol, where they established their first Thursday night residency. Around the same period, late 96, they started the radioshow Liquid Flavaz, on Urgent FM, which is still running today. Their first breakthrough for a larger audience came in 1998, when they were asked to play at the legendary Eskimo parties. After proving that they could easily rock bigger crowds, bookings followed for the D&B room at various raves and festivals. Meanwhile they also became residents at the Decadance club (nowadays, this is know as the Steam sessions on Wednesdays). In the year 2000 one of the guys took over Fried Chicken Records, a store specialising in drum & bass releases. The shop became an important meeting place for the up-and-coming talents and the established deejays in the scene. However, it turned out to be all but profitable, so in 2004 it was time to move on. Meanwhile Nico JB started working as a promoter for Democrazy and was able to take the party concept Mystic to a higher level, together with another DJ team from Ghent: Dobe 'n' Daze. To date Juice Blender has played at nearly all the major events in Belgium and occasional gigs in the Netherlands. In April 2005 he was exposed to a worldwide audience in the Breaking New Talent feature on BBC radio 1Xtra. Also, J.B. has established a recording studio called Blender Productions, where he delivers mixdown/mastering for upcoming acts such as Stan & Mook (Soul:R). Various productions are in the pipeline... By the end of 2006 Juice Blenders, in plural, are no more. Long live the Juice Blender! Since the start of his solo career the sounds have become more subtle, leftfield and personal. The focus is now to present the drum & bass genre as a true artform that will continue to push boundaries across the globe!

Dirty duo uit Brussel dat voor hun nieuwe plaat samenwerkte met Jason Boshoff (Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx). Toerden met de vorige plaat door Europa, speelden op de CMJ Music Marathon in New York en brachten onlangs nog Les Transardentes in vervoering. Ze hebben een vaste schare fans in Wallonië en Frankrijk, nu wij nog!

In 2007 was Sinden als dj mee op tournee met MIA tijdens haar Kala-tour. Remixes maakte hij al voor oa Lady Sovereign, Basement Jaxx, Chromeo, Switch en Bonde Do Role. Niet voor een gat te vangen dus: house en electro, baltimore club, baile funk, hip hop, r&b/soul, dancehall, mash ups, global rhythms, miami bass en grime: Sinden draait het allemaal. Op valentijn in Petrol: Sinden!

With several epic releases under his belt and an official remix of "Iconoclasts" by the notorious hip hop collective Wu Tang Clan, belgian dubstep prodigy Syndaesia is turning heads all over the world. This young producer with roots ranging from rock, funk to drum&bass creates music with the sole intention of smashing up a dancefloor. In just a short amount of time he has seemingly reached sonic perfection, giving birth to dubstep with an in-your-face attitude that is on the wish list of radio stations & dj's around the globe. In 2009 his unique approach to club music was picked up by Belgian electronics collective AKS (Addicted Kru Sound), who offered Syndaesia the opportunity to become the official guitarist for AKS live & co-produce their upcoming singles. The very same year Syndaesia won Studio Brussel's producers contest with his dubstep anthem "Bad Karma", made a remix for the critically praised album "Wu Tang meets Indie culture VOL 2: Enter the dubstep" & signed record deals with american labels Code of Arms records & Abducted records. Today the Syndaesia sound continues to rampage across the club scene. His smashing debut album " Turbulence" is due for release in the summer on Code of Arms records. What to expect? A futuristic cocktail of big stadium drums, twisted basslines, trancey leads, explosive build-ups & tons of energy.
