The Blessings is the group alias for the two founders of LuckyMe Music.Art.Parties, Dom Sum & Fine Art. A melting pot of 90's kid influence: New Jack Swing, RnB, Electronica, Garage & Deep House all getting processed by the crystal sound of contemporary Hip Hop & RnB.
With the forthcoming "Galaxy High" release on the Dutch tastemaker Nod Navigatgors, they will step out from behind the scenes of LuckyMe to bring their own 6 track selection of glistening melody, thumping drum programming and effortless swagger.
To date they have featured in The Independent, The List, Mixmag, The Newyorker, Dazed & Confused ( awarded in the Young Creative Entrepreneurs feature alongside Diplo and Merok Records). They have so far played alongside Dam Funk, Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer, Jamie Vex'd, Darkstar, Kode 9, Cooly G, Terror Danjah, Theophilus London, Dante's Fried Chicken, Rye Rye, Leif, Machine Drum, The Carps, Darkstar, Joker, The Cool Kids, Ikonika, Platinum Pied Pipers & Dorian Concept - and featured as part of the Beats and Pegasus Rising tours in N.America alongside good friends Mike Slott, Hudson Mohawke & Rustie.
Despite our bio, our music and our clear notch in the rap game, we are yet to formally record with any of the Force M.D's.
