Biografie

Met Me Versatile Me heeft Lize Accoe haar solodebuut klaar. Ze werd bekend bij het grote publiek als zangeres van Delavega, maar verliet de groep om haar eigen ding te doen. Ze verzamelde een zeer degelijke band rond zich en de verwachtingen zijn hooggespannen.

Lize Accoe is a former member of De La Vega.

The band made a splash on the Belgian pop scene with a beautiful mini-album and a striking single Surely. One year later the album "Falling Into Place" considerably broadened the band's horizon and in 2005 DLV received the Focus trophy for best newcomers at the ZAMU Awards show, the pinnacle of three years of hard work.

In 2006 Lize decided to leave the band to focus on her solo career and signed a publishing deal with EMI.

She is thrilled to present to you her first album Me, versatile me released 23th February 2010. The record - produced by Peter Revalk (Wizards of Ooze) and mixed by Steve Greenwell - is a blend of funk, soul and jazz.

HIGHLIGHTS: The DeLaVega album Falling Into Place stayed in the Belgian Charts for 29 weeks. With DeLaVega Lize played at Belgium's biggest summer festivals: Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Marktrock, Dranouter, PoléPolé...
