Dafnis Volcke aka Ketnies is a beginning artist from Waregem, Belgium.
In 2008 after a few years of listing to hardcore and going to hardcore parties he went to the French Teknival in Crucey Villages and fell in love with Hardtek/Tekno/Tribe/etc.

Soon he discovered the Free party movement in Belgium and Hardcore was passé for him.
Around that time a couple of friends of him were talking about starting a Soundsystem and he got even more intrigued.

So at the end of 2008 he got Fruity Loops and started making some beats. After two months and a few crappy songs later he got Ableton. And after another couple of crappy songs he came to the conclusion that software wasn't his cup of tea.

So in de spring of 2009 he bought himself a Korg Electribe MX. Six months later he bought the Electribe SX and from then on the music slowly started to take form. Now a small year after buying his first groovebox he is actively busy making new tunes and constantly trying to get new sounds out of his korgs....

He's also part of the DcTek Sound6Tem Crew who bought their first 4 KW in the beginning of 2009 and in march of that year they have their kick off @ the MvF Squad.
